Having become the official PC partner to the globally renowned Fnatic esports team, we wanted to further invest into the world of electronic sports by partnering with an organisation that could help us deliver regular and professional tournaments, that would prove popular and widely accessible. Warwick University proved a natural choice given the Esports Centre had already been kitted out with high-performance Chillblast machines.

It was important to us that our tournaments provided a platform for students from all universities to participate in an open and friendly grassroots esports environment. Tournaments that rewarded performance, encouraged healthy competition but also gave opportunities for students to get involved within the setup and execution. Having students form such a key role within each tournament has proved a massive success, driving creative, cutting-edge thinking, while making the tournaments to other students.

Chillblast x Warwick Esports Centre

The Chillblast Championships offer esports tournaments across a plethora of popular gaming titles including CS:GO, Rocket League, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, and many more. Supported by the University of Warwick's students and with live finals housed in the dedicated esports center, the Chillblast Championships offer a great way for university students to compete at a competitive level, gain experience within a professional esports environment, as well as win amazing prizes.

The ethos of the Chillblast Championships has always been about inclusivity and Warwick's pedigree in esports, plus their premium facility made for a great platform to host tournaments that would do just that.
