So, in no particular order…

F1 22

If you feel the need for speed, then F1 22 is where it’s at. You might not have time to take in your surroundings, hurtling around tracks all over the world at triple digits, but you may at least enjoy the Ray Traced visuals in a replay.

DLSS 3 will absolutely enhance the sheer speed of F1 22, which is already highly optimised with NVIDIA graphics, allowing you to experience all the thrills of driving the world’s most advanced cars. The RTX 40-series matches well beyond the system requirements for F1 22.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Following the demo from Digital Foundry, which we discussed in our other article – What is DLSS 3 and is it worth it? – much has been talked about in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.

Now somewhat of a poster child for the next-gen Ray Tracing and DLSS 3, the game doesn’t just offer smooth visuals while you’re leaping from building to building, attached by a thread. As we saw, the game is enhanced in every aspect – from walking around the open world to fighting criminals in hopes of saving the city.

DLSS 3 is perfect for the gameplay speed and enjoying beautiful city views as you swoop around the city, with shadows, characters, vehicles and more all brought into silky smooth motion.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Whilst the game is made to put the RTX 30-series to the test, the RTX 40-series seems to have been designed for such workloads, with early benchmarks showing over 90 FPS with all settings ramped up to Ultra. Against the RTX 3090 Ti, this is a 20 FPS increase.

DLSS 3 helps smooth out the animations, which are already highly optimised for NVIDIA hardware, offering virtual pilots a more immersive and wholly enhanced experience.

Naraka: Bladepoint

Next, we have one of the most interesting multiplayer battle games of the last few years: Naraka: Bladepoint. This game is a stunning, yet frantic slash-em-up with magic elements that chew the screen. The system requirements for Naraka: Bladepoint are not for lower-tier PCs, as we discussed in an earlier article.

Backwards Compatibility

Even though DLSS 3 technology is limited to the newest generation of Nvidia’s 40 series GPUs and above, Nvidia has said that DLSS 3 games will be backwards compatible.

This means that those without the newest graphics cards can still play games that release with DLSS 3 baked in as they will be playable using DLSS 2 technology. However, they just won’t be able to make use of the DLSS 3 features like Frame Interpolation which, unfortunately, is what makes it stand out against the older DLSS 2 tech.

What about DLSS 2?

For those with DLSS 2 cards and older, there are 383 games and apps that are currently supported, with even more games rumoured to be getting DLSS patches in the near future.
