Manor Lords PC Specs & Requirements

Manor Lords is an upcoming medieval strategy and city-building game set to be released on 26th April 2024.

Developed by Slavic Magic and published by Hooded Horse, the game features “in-depth city building, large-scale tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations”.

In the game, players will be ruling the land as a medieval lord, building up their settlements, managing resources and production chains, and expanding their lands through conquest.

As with any modern game release, knowing the system requirements necessary to run the game at optimal settings is vital for having an enjoyable gameplay experience. In this article, we’ll explore the PC specs required to run Manor Lords, as well as provide recommendations for those looking to upgrade their current setup.

So, read on to discover what hardware you will need to immerse yourself in this medieval world.

Manor Lords Minimum Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 (quad-core) / AMD FX-Series FX-4350 (quad-core)
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2 GB) / AMD Radeon RX-460 (4 GB)
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Storage: 16 GB available space

To get Manor Lords up and running at 1080p resolution, with most settings likely on low but hitting a decent 30 FPS, Slavic Magic says you don't need a particularly powerful PC.

These specs are pretty typical of a lot of modern releases that don’t require the most photo-realistic AAA graphics. Both the CPU and GPU options are truly showing their age now so most gaming PCs made within the last decade should be able to handle getting the game up and running.

Even though the game is really small in size compared to a lot of other modern titles, it’ll always benefit from being installed on a fast drive. This is especially true as your settlement grows and the game has to load more and more assets each time. With this in mind, consider upgrading your system with an SSD for faster load times, even if it's a smaller one.

If your PC just meets these specifications, however, you will need to be content with the lowest settings. You’ll only be able to play at around 1080p at 30 FPS with pretty much all the settings on low.

What PC do we recommend?

A PC that we'd recommend at this level would be the Ignition Intel Core i3 GTX 1650 Gaming PC.

As the minimum specs listed are showing their age now, anything from the last 8 years will surpass it and so that’s the case with this PC.

It houses newer components in the form of the Nvidia RTX 1650 GPU and the Intel i3 12100. Both parts are great entry-level options and offer excellent value for money for those looking for a more budget system that will still allow for moderate gaming.

It also comes stocked with double the minimum requirement for RAM at 16GB, plus a huge 1TB SSD to store the game on giving you more than enough space for a few others.

Manor Lords Recommended Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 (quad-core) / AMD FX-Series FX-9590 (octa-core)
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB) / AMD Radeon RX 570 (8 GB)
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Storage: 16 GB available space

According to Slavic Magic, systems that fall within these recommended specifications will likely provide a solid Manor Lords gameplay experience at 1080p, increasing framerates and graphical settings to ‘high’.

These recommended specs aren’t too much of a jump from the minimum requirements either. In fact, the GPU options are actually older than the parts suggested in the minimum requirements. But looking closely, their increase in VRAM is why they were chosen as the slightly better option whilst remaining at a similar price point.

However, they are a couple of generations old now and can be hard to get your hands on, so will likely not be the best option for value for money and you should instead look to newer parts.

What PC do we recommend?

A PC that we'd recommend at this level would be the Evolution AMD Ryzen 5 RX 7600 Gaming PC.

Just as with our PC suggestion for the minimum specs, this PC features much more recent parts, upgrading the CPU to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and the GPU to an AMD RX 7600. The combination of these newer parts means more future-proofing alongside a top-tier 1080p experience.

Slavic Magic may not have officially stated whether or not Manor Lords will support AMD’s FSR technology at launch, but with it implementing Nvidia’s DLSS with this game, we can likely assume that the AMD alternative will be implemented too. So don’t worry about missing out if you choose a system that features an AMD GPU.

What do you need to play Manor Lords at higher resolutions?

Slavic Magic hasn’t released official high-resolution specs, but to enjoy a game like Manor Lords at 1440p and 4K, all while having graphical settings on high, these are the specs we think your system will need to hit at the very minimum.

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x or Intel i5 11600k
  • GPU: AMD RX 6800 XT or Nvidia RTX 3080
  • Storage Space: 50 GB available space
  • RAM: 16 GB

Like the other requirement lists, these components are also not of the most current generation. So, to hit these specs without spending money on out-of-date parts, consider a system like the Chilblast Evolution Intel Core i5 RTX 4070 Gaming PC.

This Chillblast PC features the Intel Core i5 14500 processor, which offers excellent gaming performance and multitasking capabilities. Paired with the Nvidia RTX 4070, you can expect smooth gameplay at 4K at high settings in most games.

Additionally, having 16GB of RAM and a powerful multitasking CPU, you should face no limits on expanding your city. Plus, with full support for DLSS, it can drive up frame rates in supported games even more, and it even has some impressive ray-tracing support in compatible games

It even comes with a 1TB SSD which is ample room for your game library, plus a solid 16GB of high-speed memory.

Conclusion

Manor Lord’s various system requirements provide options for all budgets. While meeting the minimum requirements will allow you to play the game smoothly, upgrading to a more powerful Chillblast PC will enhance your gaming experience, especially if you aim to play at higher resolutions and settings.
